Have you recently had a baby?
Are you feeling sad or depressed?
Are you having panic attacks?
Are you feeling alone?
Are you afraid to talk about it?
The Postpartum Depression Support Group of the Greater Ann Arbor Area is a grassroots support group facilitated by five volunteers who work with pregnant and parenting women. Our mission is to support women in their recovery from postpartum depression.
The good news is that postpartum depression and anxiety get better with treatment and support. You will feel better!
We meet the first and third Mondays of the month from 10:30 a.m. to noon at 2855 Boardwalk, Ann Arbor, MI. Women experiencing depression or anxiety symptoms during pregnancy or postpartum are invited to attend. Participants are welcome to bring their baby, partner, family member, or friend to the meeting.
Each meeting includes information on a topic related to recovery followed by open discussion. Topics include:
- symptoms and feelings
- support systems
- myths of motherhood
Please RSVP by calling 418-2683 and leaving a message. A facilitator will return your call.
